Our Changing Garden Landscape from Winter into Spring....
Its Spring and every aspect of our house and garden seems to be coming alive! Not long ago, our garden was covered in snow and everything seemed to be asleep.
But now, each morning, I wake up to find that something has changed outside and the changing colours of our garden landscape is indeed a sight to savour.
At the beginning of April, the seemingly barren plum tree turned beautifully white with snow-like blossom and then ever so quickly turned green as the blossom was replaced with sprouting leaves. Bluebells, tulips and daffodils sprung up from nowhere which was a sure sign that spring had finally arrived. Our grumpy old 16th century house was awoken from its frozen sleep by wisteria buds that blossomed into beautiful blue-ish lilac flowers that infused the air with an intoxicating floral scent.
